Split (2016)

The protagonist of M. Night Shyamalan’s thriller “Split” is similar to the character in the book “The Curious Case of Billy Milligan”. In the mind of a guy with a dissociative identity disorder , personalities of different character, age and gender replace each other, controlling his behavior. They play with toys, kidnap girls, go to work, but all 23 (some with fear, others with awe) are waiting for the manifestation of the 24th – the super-strong personality of the Beast. The role, to which Joaquin Phoenix was invited, brought worldwide fame to the Scot James McAvoy.
