Dramas based on real events

Dramatic films, which are based on real events, introduce viewers to real stories. They can hurt a nerve, because all the plot twists are not a figment of the imagination of writers and directors. Sometimes the content of such films is so incredible that it is difficult to believe in the reality of the events.

Aviator (2004)

Howard Hughes is a young man who, after the death of his father, inherited a small oil company. But he is not interested in the family business: the young man dreams of conquering Hollywood, and then building modern aircraft.

Impossible (2012)

The Spanish drama film, which was based on real events, shows what people had to go through during the tsunami in Thailand. The main characters of this picture are the British couple Maria and Henry, who, together with their three children, went to rest in this exotic country. The heroes of the film move into a bungalow and celebrate Christmas merrily.

The next morning, the element takes the British by surprise: a powerful wave is approaching the resort area. Maria with one of her sons manages to get to a safe place. Ahead of the woman waiting for the painful search for her husband and two other children.

The Pursuit of Happyness (2006)

The man was already desperate, but suddenly he saw that his girls had a real fighting character. They did not give a descent to anyone in the class and fought with the boys. From this moment begins the difficult path of Mahavir as a coach of his daughters.

Green Book (2018)
