Good old England: 20 films about the Victorian era

The Victorian era is one of the most recognizable historical periods. This brilliant time for England served as the basis for a whole brood of atmospheric films and series. From the same distance appeared such characters as Sherlock Holmes and Jack the Ripper, heroes of the novels of Charles Dickens, famous gentlemen and royalty. And although some films about the Victorian era suffer from historical inaccuracies, they perfectly recreate the atmosphere of that time.

The Incredibles (TV series 2021)

A dynamic steampunk fantasy series takes the viewer into an alternate reality of the Victorian era. England, 19th century.
