“Saw” and similar films demonstrate how the heroes have to simultaneously fight for their own lives with a maniac who enjoys other people’s suffering, and with “comrades in misfortune.” Because of the violence, most horror movies are rated 18+. However, in similar films, a massacre is often given a philosophical basis that touches on the problems of human society, and there is no mystical component .

Perhaps, thanks to the scenarios close to reality, Saw and similar horror films continue to evoke especially vivid emotions in the audience. Therefore, you can argue with the traditional phrase of the Designer that “the game is over.”
