12 horror movies about piranhas and killer fish

Fish with powerful jaws from South America have become real stars of horror films. The ability of a pack of “river hyenas” to gnaw on an animal’s carcass in a matter of seconds captured the imagination of filmmakers. Of course, the screen stories are not based on real events – in fact, creepy little fish have never killed a single person. Despite this, horror films about piranhas can tickle your nerves no worse than thrillers about sharks.
