Predatory Waters: Trap (2020)

The action of this Australian-American horror movie takes the viewer to the west coast of Australia. Five friends go on a journey and plan to explore a cave system that has not yet been fully explored by scientists. An unexpected tropical storm disrupts their plans by filling the cave with water and they are trapped. The path to salvation turns into a series of dangerous traps and obstacles, besides, the storm wakes up an ancient aquatic predator.

7 Tomb Keepers (2018)

The heroes of this horror film are a company of archaeologists who know a lot about ancient tombs and caves, and have been researching them and searching for ancient artifacts for years. During the expedition, scientists manage to discover a whole collection of ancient underground burials. One of the researchers decides to go down to the tombs alone, but the connection with him suddenly breaks off. Time Trap (2017)

Archeology professor Hopper’s parents disappeared many years ago in caves on the outskirts of Texas. All he knows about their disappearance is that they were looking underground for some “Fountain of Youth” from ancient legends. The suddenly discovered minivan with his parents’ belongings gives him hope, and he goes down into the caves alone.

Diggers (2016)

The Russian horror film tells about the main dungeon of the capital – the Moscow Metro. The last night train with a few passengers, without stopping at the final one, disappears without a trace. A young couple decides to go searching on their own, turning to an experienced Moscow digger on the recommendation. Cave (2013)

The Spanish film , which received a particularly high rating in its homeland, tells about a company that went on vacation away from civilization on a small Mediterranean island. After some time, they realize that, carried away by the beauty of the dungeon, they managed to hopelessly get lost. The way back is impossible to find, and the walk turns into horror and panic. Underground (2013)

The film, based on real events , tells about the tragedy that occurred in one of the American mines. Samantha comes from New York to visit her retiring father. The daughter asks the old man to give her an excursion to the mine, to which he devoted 35 years of his life, but the walk underground turns into a nightmare. There is a collapse in the mine. Samantha, her father, and a few other survivors take refuge in a safe hiding place, but some noise is heard nearby. In the hope that this is one of the survivors, they go in search. But something strange happens to the people in the catacombs: they begin to lose their minds and attack each other.

Tunnel (2011)

The next horror film tells about the sewer catacombs of Australian Sydney. People disappear in sewers and tunnels under the city. The train goes no further (2008)

Four friends, celebrating a bachelor party, go down to the subway in search of a new place and board the last night train. Dungeon Mystery (2007)

This horror film is not about abandoned mines and ancient tombs, but about secret catacombs specially designed and built by a certain corporation. Tolbiak wakes up in an unfamiliar underground tunnel, with absolutely no memory of how he ended up here. There is a faint light in the tunnel and the only way is forward. Hoping to find a way out, the guy makes his way into the dim light, and suddenly finds himself in a room with a single locked door. An interesting and non-standard plot is built on the principle of a puzzle, and will not let you tear yourself away from the screen for a minute.

A company of six girls who are fond of speleology go on a joint trip. Having descended into a familiar cave, they accidentally discover an unknown passage and decide to explore it. It remains only to explore the cave further in the hope of another way out, but in the darkness ahead, someone is clearly hiding, and these are not people. The continuation of the thriller begins with a search operation organized in the caves two days after the disappearance of the heroines of the first part. The film has received numerous awards and is included in the list of the best in its genre.
