10 love movies everyone should watch

Long road (2015)

Luke is a local cowboy who defies danger every day by taking part in the rodeo. Lori dreams of connecting her life with ballet. At the fair performance, young people get to know each other and fall in love at first sight. At one of the shows, Luke could not cope with the bull and was injured. But much more disturbing is the fact that the characters in the film are entangled in relationships and suffer from mutual misunderstanding.

Unexpectedly, fate brings lovers together with old Ira. Wise by experience, a casual acquaintance perfectly sees that the guys are clearly confused, and tells them the story of his tragic love. An elderly homegrown psychologist gives Luke and Laurie faith in the future and guides them to make life-changing decisions for the sake of love.

Last love on earth (2011)

This is the kind of melodrama that you are guaranteed to watch in one breath – you just have to start! One day, the world was overtaken by a global epidemic of a disease that deprives people of their senses. Mankind is trying with all its might to cope with the problem, but all in vain.

In the chaos, virologist Susan and chef Michael met and became romantically involved. The lovers decided to use every second for enjoyment. But the main question tormenting the characters seemed to hang in the air: how to maintain a relationship when all feelings disappear?

Three meters above the sky (2010)

The first part of the famous melodrama. The acquaintance of young people took place in the bustle of the city and could hardly serve as a basis for starting a love relationship. Then the bully Hache told Babi that she was not beautiful enough to attract the attention of the opposite sex. Later, at one of the parties , the offended heroine again ran into the guy and decided to get even with the offender, starting a skirmish.

Achi’s gang of friends, not wanting to end the conflict, pursue the girl and her boyfriend on their way home. Frightened by reprisals, the failed hero-lover runs away. It so happened that, due to the presence of common acquaintances, Babi has to see Achi every day. He, without thinking twice, decided to fall in love with a girl, but over time, sports interest grew into true love.

Easy Virtue (2008)

This is definitely one of the best films in our selection, which is worth watching, about the willpower and love of a real Woman. The young eccentric American Larita is used to living quickly, provocatively and interestingly. The incendiary girl regularly participates in local car races . Once the girl met a pleasant Englishman named John Whitaker.

Their fleeting romance was followed by a magnificent wedding, after which the newlyweds left to live in their husband’s homeland. And only here, finding herself in an old mansion in the company of prim relatives led by an unbearable daughter-in-law, Larita wanted to howl with annoyance. But nothing can be done – I had to pull myself together and begin to radically change the foundations of my beloved husband’s family.

My Blueberry Nights (2008)

A film that will not leave indifferent any woman. The main character of the melodrama, Elizabeth, has been unlucky in relationships since her early youth. Being gullible and defenseless, she blindly followed her chosen one, and then it was hard to endure deceit and betrayal. Once, when she was finally broken by the betrayal of her beloved , the girl wandered into the Klyuch cafe, where at first glance there was nothing unusual: a pleasant bartender-manager and a branded blueberry pie.

Elizabeth did not even notice how she spent the whole night behind the bar in a friendly conversation with Jeremy, pouring out her soul to him and talking about the vicissitudes of fate and the deceitfulness of love. The next morning, the heroine left the town and went to Memphis, from where she later ended up in Las Vegas. However, wherever she went, some nagging feeling called her back to her homeland to her favorite blueberry pie and Jeremy.

Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008)

A very realistic good foreign melodrama, which every woman should definitely watch, about a love quadrangle. Christina and Vicki are young, beautiful and full of energy. The next vacation of a friend decided to spend in wonderful Barcelona. This city enchants girls with its unique aura and obviously has a beneficial effect on the modest Vika and the liberated Christina.

During the walk, the travelers meet the young artist Antonio, who captivates the heroines with his charm and immediately announces without hesitation that he likes them both. Suddenly, Antonio’s ex-wife breaks into the swirling whirlpool of romantic events, who claims her rights to him.

Redemption (2007)

Sometimes you do not notice how a little lie not only destroys love, but also leads to sad tragic consequences. Briony is an imaginative teenage girl growing up in a family of real London aristocrats. She is already old enough to notice that the commoner Robbie is head over heels in love with her older sister Cecilia, and she reciprocates.

One day, the girl’s cousin Lola was abused by an unknown person. Briony did not have evidence that Robbie was the rapist, but her developed fantasy “finished” that she allegedly witnessed this. So in one fell swoop the destinies of two loving hearts were crossed out.

Painted Veil (2006)

A truly great film that everyone should see, about the life and fate of Walsen and Kitty Fane in a loveless marriage. Due to the nature of the husband’s work, the couple lives in Shanghai, where he works as a doctor, and she vegetates from boredom. Sooner or later it had to happen – Kitty starts an affair on the side.

The enraged husband decides on a voluntary “exile” to a remote, seedy village, in which the benefits of civilization are completely absent. In addition, the unfortunate village is unsuccessfully fighting the cholera epidemic. The wife is obviously annoyed by this choice of her husband, but leaves with him. There, in the most severe conditions, a woman recognizes her husband again and truly falls in love with him, but the insidious fate is just beginning to test the heroes of this exciting melodrama.

Closeness (2004)

This film is worth watching for women who love extraordinary stories. Relations between them began unusually and promised a good future. Dan’s gaze snatched a beautiful girl from the crowd on the street and lingered on her for so long that she became nervous and inadvertently got hit by a car. That’s how he met Alice, a professional stripper. Sudden love awakened a writer’s gift in Dan, and the young man succeeded in this field.

Soon, a popular writer at a photo shoot meets the photographer Anna, who interested him as a woman. The situation is finally confused by the doctor Larry, who converges with Anna, but is not averse to getting close to Alice. So all four are tormented by the uncertainty of feelings for each other.

Frida (2002)

Completes our list of melodramas that every woman should watch, a film about all-consuming love, based on real events. Frida from early childhood had a penchant for drawing. This hobby partly helped the girl to endure a serious illness – polio. Only having learned a little to cope with a terrible disease, the 18-year-old beauty got into a car accident, forever depriving her of the ability to move.

Despite the hardest blow of fate, Frida found the strength not to become limp and continued to draw. In addition, the heroine selflessly fell in love with the rake artist Diego Rivera, for whom she carried bright feelings through her whole life, despite his betrayals.
