Lust for Love (2016)

The love relationship between Tian Xiang and Xue Er ended very ridiculously – the girl disappears from the guy’s life without devoting him to the reason for the breakup. But after a while, the former lovers were destined to meet again. Seeing the runaway bride, the hero realizes that his feelings still have not cooled down. But Xue Er acts like he’s seeing a guy for the first time in his life.

Maid (2016)

The cunning false Count Fujiwara plots an insidious scam, for the implementation of which he takes a young beggar thief Nam Suk Hee as his assistant. For a fee, his accomplice had to keep an eye on the wealthy Japanese woman Hideko. The swindler plans to seduce an aristocrat, get married, and then put her in a psychiatric hospital and take possession of a multimillion-dollar fortune. But the carefully thought-out plan is on the verge of collapse due to Nam Suk Hee’s sudden crush on Hideko.

Five Minutes to Midnight (2014)

In the center of the narrative of another wonderful film about the East from our selection is the intricate love story of twin sisters. The first of them – Zhumei – has been living happily with Tianlun for a long time. But the second one, Zholan, is secretly in love with her sister’s husband. Soon the girl meets an attractive watchmaker, Ryo, and the guys decide to get married. Before the wedding, the bride organizes a bachelorette party at sea, but a shipwreck occurs as a result of a storm.

Zholan miraculously manages to survive in the catastrophe, and she returns to her sister’s husband and pretends to be Zhumei. Soon Tianlun begins to notice oddities in his wife and comes to the conclusion that it was not his wife’s sister who died in the natural disaster, but his beloved. The husband shares his suspicions with Ryo, with whom they are trying to figure out who really died in the shipwreck.

At the same time, the beloved man preferred not to stand up for his beloved, but to stay away from the scandal.

Curse of the Golden Flower (2006)

Rain (2001)

Latif moonlights as a food peddler at a construction site in Iran. Here, under the scorching sun, workers from other eastern countries work in hard labor conditions. One day, an accident occurs at the facility – a visiting Afghan Najaf breaks his leg, falling from the second floor of the building.

In order to somehow feed his loved ones, Najaf sends his son Rakhmat to his place. However, the young man turns out to be weak for such work, and the boss decided to put him in the place of Latif, and transfer him to the builders. The boy remains dissatisfied with such an order of the leadership and tries in every possible way to take revenge on his opponent. Soon the hero learns that Rakhmat is not a boy at all, but a pretty girl. Stunned by this news, Lateef reconsiders his attitude towards the heroine, and later falls in love with her.
