The Italian-made comedy series has received high ratings and has been renewed for a second season. Netflix has not yet announced a release date for season 2 of An Astrological Guide for Broken Hearts, but it is expected to premiere in 2022.
At the center of the plot of the Italian series is a young employee of a TV channel named Alice. She learns that her ex-boyfriend Carlo is going to have a wedding. This news drives the girl into a deep depression. However, a little later, there is a change of management at her job. The new boss Alice makes changes not only in the professional life of the girl, but also in her vision of love. Among other things, the heroine strikes up a friendship with the astrologer Tio and begins to actively attend consultations. This completely changes Alice’s life.
What do you think, is it worth filming a sequel, and what should be in it?
Each episode of The Astrological Guide… deals with the main character’s interaction with the other signs of the zodiac. She herself is a Libra by horoscope. The first season begins with the Aries episode and ends with Virgo. With some signs the girl finds common ground quickly and easily, and with some more difficult. There are many moments in the series devoted to the compatibility of Libra with carriers of different elements: fire (Aries, Leo), earth (Taurus, Virgo), air (Gemini) and water (Cancer).
The light romantic comedy could not do without an interesting love line. Despite the fact that Alice actively goes on dates, her new boss Davide Sardi doesn’t leave her indifferent. In all six episodes, we still don’t know who he is by zodiac sign. Among other things, the last episode subtly hints that the man may be busy.

The creators of The Astrological Guide… have promised that the remaining zodiac signs will not be neglected. Consequently, in the second season we will be presented with episodes that will focus on Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. The release date for season 2 of An Astrological Guide for Broken Hearts is expected in 2022. Other than that, it is very interesting to see if Alice’s relationship with Davide will develop into something more. We should expect that the main character will have a lot of new adventures, interesting acquaintances and bright emotions.
