The story is set in the 1980s on Long Island. It’s summer and six high school friends are returning to their hometowns to enter adulthood in the fall. Jimmy recently graduated from college and is offered a dream job: a six-month stint in Alaska to shoot local wildlife for National Geographic magazine. The guy is happy to have his dream come true, but he fears the trip will end his relationship with Jill. The couple almost broke up because of the hero’s studies in a neighboring town and now they face a new separation. How Jimmy will come out of his difficult situation will tell the second season. Pegs went to Boston Law School and dreams of becoming a musician’s lawyer upon graduation, as music is his true passion, but he is not endowed with the appropriate talents himself.
