Echo – when is the release date?

In 2021, Marvel Studios officials revealed all of the Phase 5 series, which will stretch into 2022-23. Among others, they announced the show Echo, which tells the story of a deaf and dumb Native American girl with superpowers. The character was first shown in the series Falcon’s Eye, where she appeared as the antagonist, and long before that series was released, there was a rumor that she would have her own solo movie. The information was confirmed by Kevin Feigy, who is the head studio.

In the summer of 2022, the performer of the key role Alava Cox posted a story on her own social media, announcing the end of filming. The girl revealed that the release date for the series Echo will be in the summer of 2023, but the exact release date is not yet known.

The character of Echo first appeared in the comics in 1999. The girl was introduced in one of the Daredevil issues. She was originally introduced as the antagonist, as the girl believed that Daredevil was responsible for the death of her father, but as the story progressed, she moved to the side of good, taking the side of the blind superhero. Later, the girl was part of the New Avengers, appearing as Ronin, and the true identity of this character was not revealed for a long time.

The creator of the New Avengers series Brian Michael Bendis said that his idea for Ronin was Matt Murdock, that is, Daredevil, but his creators didn’t want to cede the rights, and so the idea was reworked and the character turned out to be Echo. The upcoming series is a direct spin-off of Falcon’s Eye and there is a possibility that it will bring back characters already familiar to viewers. The show’s release date will be in the summer of 2023.

Alava Cox plays the lead role in the new project, and viewers will also see Charlie Cox on the show as Matt Murdock and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk. Both characters are familiar to viewers from the series Daredevil, which closed after the rights to it were transferred from Netflix to Disney.

It has long been rumored that the show about Daredevil would return to screens, as it had high ratings and now there is a chance that Echo will not only show the beloved characters again but will re-launch their existence in the movie universe. The release date for the Echo series is set for summer of 2023.

Few details are known about the novelty. Rumors claim that events will unfold immediately after those shown in the Falcon’s Eye series.
