Amazon Prime Video’s series The Boys has become the most popular show on television in recent years and has shown a new perspective on superhero projects. The show came out with three seasons and its popularity has only grown, allowing the film service and project director Eric Kripke to announce spin-offs. One of these was The Pussycat Boys, created in the format of an animated series.
The second – Gen V, the events in which will unfold immediately after the events of the third season of the original project. Eric Kripke, who is the author of the show, noted that their nascent universe of the Dudes is not a set of separate projects, but interconnected stories, where the events of the show flow seamlessly from one to the other and back again. A release date for the Gen V series is expected in 2023. Exact release dates are unknown.

The original story introduces viewers to a world where along with ordinary people live superheroes with incredible powers. They all work for Vought International Corporation and at first glance serve a good purpose – protecting the United States from crime and external threats. As events unfold, viewers are shown that superheroes often abuse their powers and do not value the lives of ordinary people, which leads to a group of people seeking to destroy the Vought Corporation and the main superhero named Homeworlder (Solid State).
The main protector of humans has gone insane and by subverting the corporation is threatening all of humanity. The upcoming novelty is about the university, where the so-called Gen V generation, which is the addition to the team of superheroes of the corporation Vought, grows up. The Gen V series’ release date will be in 2023.
