The author of the script was Rebecca Perry Cutter, who became the main showrunner of the project. She had a hand in such multi-series as The Mentalist and Gotham. The crime saga was directed by Rachel Morrison, who we remember from “American Horror Story” and “Quantico Base.” At the moment, the public has already been announced the release date of the series Hightown season 3, so fans are left to wait for fresh episodes.

At the center of the plot is fisheries surveillance officer Jackie Quinones. The girl does not like her job, using her coveted badge only to seduce female tourists. One day, a dead body is discovered in a cove under Jackie’s supervision. Quinones has to launch an investigation and find herself at the center of the heroin epidemic thriving in her town. Complicating matters is that Quinones herself is addicted to alcohol and drugs.

If you turn to the Russian-language portal “Myreleasedate”, there you can see only one positive review. Such indicators show that the project has remained unnoticed by Russian viewers.

The crime picture was appreciated only by true fans of the genre, who are now waiting for the “Kaytown” 3 season tape to come out. As for the ratings on the foreign aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, the first chapter was given 80% approval.
