In 2003, writer Audrey Niffenegger released a fantasy novel that won over any readers around the world. In 2009, a movie of the same name was released based on it, and in 2021, HBO talked about developing a series. It will be a romantic story consisting of six episodes. The series The Time Traveler’s Wife is about a young married couple forced to go through a complicated romance. Henry Detumble is a librarian. He is a nice and quiet guy, a great and loving spouse. This is how he is seen by Claire, the wife of the main character. Despite their perfect compatibility, the couple has to go through many trials, as Henry suffers from a rare ailment – chrononeuropathy. The man has an impaired perception of the flow of time and he periodically “throws” in the past or the future. This process can not be controlled, and the hero does not know where he will be next time. His adventures will be recounted in the HBO novelty, whose release date is May 15, 2022.

While Henry is on another journey, Claire awaits him in the present, where though she is forced into obscurity, she cannot leave Henry because of her love for her. The girl does not know how long the next leap will be and whether her husband will come back, because it can take him to different eras, not the safest for modern man. The producers of the project said that they respected the original and show his reinterpretation, which will not strictly follow every letter, but the transfer storyline without significant deviations. The story shown in the series develops non-linearly. It begins with Henry meeting Claire in the library, which for the guy will turn out to be his first encounter with her, and for Claire it is the meeting of a man she has been with for years. Before the show began, critics were interested in the show because it is being worked on by a prominent director, who has called staging a series based on this book a longtime dream.
