Vikings: Valhalla on Netflix release date

The popular TV series Vikings is over, but its creator Michael Hurst said it’s not over. The show received a spin-off called Vikings of Valhalla and moved from History to Netflix. This became known in 2019, but only in January 2021, the online cinema announce the cast.

The Vikings Valhalla project is a free interpretation of historical events. The Vikings who actually lived and people of that era, known from mythological works, were chosen as key heroes. The authors did not begin to shift existing works about the Viking era on screens but came up with their own story. The action in the novelty illuminates the decline of the Viking conquests when the world was redistributed and these warlike people sank into oblivion. The Vikings Valhalla was produced by the author of the original story Michael Hirst, and Jeb Stewart was appointed showrunner, who previously wrote the script for the action movie Die Hard. The show will be released on February 25, 2022.

In the new Netflix series, viewers will see the characters – Leif Erickson, the son of the famous Viking Eric the Red, with whom the guy has a difficult relationship. Also, Leif’s half-sister, Freydis Eriksdottir, will appear on the screens.
