What do you think, is it worth filming a sequel, and what should be in it?
The Yellowjackets series is a fictional story inspired by real events that took place in 1972, when a plane crashed in the Andes and the survivors had to become cannibals to save themselves. According to the plot, the story in the Sherney series will unfold around the women’s soccer team. The girls are flying to a major competition, but the plane crashes in the forests of Ontario, known for its impassability and lack of civilization for many miles. However, Yellowjackets is not another survival series, but a convoluted story in the vein of Staying Alive. The release date is the fall of 2022.
The action in the new series takes place at two time points, in the present and 25 years ago, when all the events took place. The surviving girls after a long time decide to tell the truth about what really happened in the woods and why not all of the team members who did not immediately crash when the plane crashed, survived. In the information that is revealed, the story of cannibalism is the most innocuous, which is what attracted viewers’ interest in the show. The Yellowjackets season 2 release date will be in the fall of 2022, more facts will be revealed to viewers, and the writers promise to provide answers to some of the mysteries from the first season.

Some users have compared the new Showtime series to the book Lord of the Flies, where the action is set on an island around boys who have escaped from a sunken king. Within a few months on the island they had time to experience all the delights of adulthood, which was accompanied by a struggle for leadership, a split society and murders.
Yellowjackets, unlike the book, shows a story of survival, but with elements of mysticism. Wild forests can hide many unexpected dangers besides animals. The lead roles in the novel were played by notable actresses Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis and Christina Ricci, all of whom will return to their roles in season two. Performing the characters in their youth are mostly young and unknown actors, whose play has already been praised by critics. The release date for the second season is the fall of 2022. It consists of ten episodes.
